The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Levensohn Vineyard has been made only in 2018 and 2019, and there won't be any produced in 2020 (nor in 2017). The vineyard was recently sold, so this will be the swan song from this site just beside Bourn Vineyard. Lots of blackcurrants, tobacco, chocolate, and chalky minerality emerge from the glass, and it's another flawlessly balanced, full-bodied, beautifully textured wine from this team that has another 20+ years of prime drinking ahead of it.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Levensohn Vineyard is a racy, open-knit wine from a site in the center of St. Helena. Bright red cherry fruit, blood orange, mint and cinnamon infuse the 2019 with layers of nuance. This radiant, succulent Cabernet offers tons of immediacy and sexiness. This is the last Levensohn for Realm, as the vineyard had been sold.

This will be the last vintage of this single-vineyard wine, since the vineyard has been sold. Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Levensohn Vineyard explodes with flamboyant blackcurrant pastilles, blackberry pie and blueberry compote notes, with touches of menthol, mocha, star anise and fragrant earth with hint of dried mint. The medium to full-bodied palate is seductively plush with plenty of dried berry flavors and a long, spicy finish.
