A wonderfully rich, complex and ageworthy Cabernet. It displays the impeccable winemaking from this winery, with deep, long flavors of blackberries, currants and chocolate, and while it's drinkable now, those sturdy Diamond Mountain tannins should carry the wine forward for 6-8 years.

A distinct style, with roasted herb, espresso, fresh earth and dried berry flavors that slowly unfold, finally revealing a sweetness on the finish. Full-bodied and supple-textured. Decant. Best from 2011 through 2017.

The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain reveals mountain tannins as well as plenty of concentration and depth. Black currant, cocoa, chocolate, espresso roast, lead pencil shavings, and new oak notes characterize this full-bodied, concentrated, moderately tannic 2007 Cabernet. It should hit its prime in 5-6 years, and keep for 20-25.
