Silvery gold in the glass, Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut is a vibrant, stylish cuvée characterised by delicate f loral aromas, rounded out by fresh fruit and hints of buttery brioche and vanilla. Though crisp and light, it combines freshness with a lingeringly rich, generous finish, preserving its distinctive balance and harmony to the very end. Pair with Seared Pacific Striped Sea Bass with braised artichoke, fregola pasta and saffron aioli, Rock Shrimp Roll with napa cabbage slaw, basil, mint, citrus aioli and pickled chilis.

Firm and focused, with a fine, lacy mousse, this well-knit Champagne layers a streak of smoke-laced minerality and lemony acidity with flavors of poached apricot, glazed tangerine and toasted brioche. Floral and spice notes play on the finish. Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay. Drink now.

With crisp acidity and layers of apple and citrus fruits, this attractive wine still has some of the higher dosage typical of this house. Together the fruits and the soft texture have produced a wine that is ready to drink.

(made from roughly 40% Pinot Meunier, 35% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay; 10 g/l dosage; Lot 029140020): Light yellow-gold. Zesty citrus and orchard fruits on the mineral-accented nose, with a hint of white flowers coming up with aeration. Lively and focused on the palate, offering slightly tart lemon and green apple flavors and a hint of candied ginger. Closes taut and spicy, with good cut and length.

Charming and extroverted, the latest release of the NV Grand Brut bursts with expressive aromas of warm biscuits, honeyed citrus and orchard fruit, followed by a medium to full-bodied, open-knit palate with ripe acids, a frothy mousse and a fleshy core of fruit, concluding with a clean, uncomplicated finish. More biscuity complexity will emerge with bottle age.
